The climate here is very moderate and is one of the only communities in the Bay Area with direct access to beaches and the San Francisco Bay.

There are many activities to do in locally including wind surfing, kite surfing, kite flying, golf at the local Chuck Corica golf complex, fishing, swimming, beach activities, tennis, and bicycle riding as Alameda is flat. There are many different restaurants in Alameda along with several shops for just about anything one would want to find including the Alameda Towne Centre. Alameda is clean, quiet, and has breathtaking views of San Francisco, Oakland, and the surrounding hills making Alameda Real Estate in demand and rising in value.
